At the end of August, I had a chance to visit Jill, Vincent, Alix and little Cecile - it had been three years since we last saw each other! much too long....we had a lovely time, in true french fashion, enjoying long meals out side on the terrace, prepared by the best chef in all of France - Jill!(it's a secret that even the Guide Michlin still doesn't know...)
Vincent was our guide for a day out to the 'Gorges du Verdon,' a spectacular area of canyons, mountains and lovely villages - including a walk up to a little church perched on the rocks. We had a dip in Lac St. Croix - and then a picnic lunch, en famille - my parents were able to visit from Paris, too.
