Big Saturday

Last weekend we had a huge low pressure system sitting just north of Sydney - we didn't see the sun for three days (a long time in these parts...), it beached a supertanker, washed out roads and kicked up big surf. Elena photographed this brave surfer on "Fairy Bower" aka "Creepy Point" - my favorite surf spot in Manly (beautiful point break - but watch out for 'Serge' the rock) - although I surf it when it is MUCH smaller than this.
